VB-EPDM sheeting is a supple, waterproof membrane that is suitable as a primary and permanent damp proof course above wall openings, in the wall cavity or as a splash guard on window frames. Even sealing entire facades is among the possibilities. VB-EPDM wall sealing systems consist of ribbon-shaped EPDM strips that, together with made-to-measure sealing sleeves, are fitted with the aid of adhesives and sealing compounds.
VB-EPDM seals are also available in 3D shapes specially designed for difficult details. During fabrication the VB-EPDM sheeting is vulcanised to match the existing angles.
VB-EPDM facade cladding is available in virtually any shape or size required. This reduces the number of necessary seam joints at the construction site and therefore saves valuable application time. VB-EPDM sheeting is UV resistant and elastic. This makes the material ideally suited for use with expansion joints, where heavy demands are made in respect of permanently sealing building components that move in relation to one another.
VB-EPDM membranes consist of rubber sheeting of the highest European quality. They are created by the bespoke vulcanisation of strips of EPDM sheet and come in a selection of thicknesses. This results in seamless and homogenous VB-EPDM membranes that precisely meet the standards set. Each membrane comes with a corresponding certificate and installation instructions. VB-EPDM rubber has a very favourable environmental impact factor and it is ecologically sound. The environmental effects during its whole life cycle are extremely low.
